I make films under the production company Patuá Films. I taught in the Cinema Studies Department at University of Oregon, and I currently teach at Lewis & Clark College and at Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) at Willamette University. My courses mostly cover film (fiction and non-fiction) and video installation.

I made a feature film, Borrufa, which is distributed by Collective Eye Films, and streaming on Kanopy.

In 2020-2021, I organized two film screening programs (From Afar and From Afar II), and I wrote accompanying essays for the ten films presented.

In 2019, I presented a performance piece, The Overseas Banquet, and a video installation as part of The Autopoets.

In 2017, with co-directors Stacey Tran and Jonathan Raissi, I made an experimental short film, Haft-Seen.

In 2014, I made a short documentary, There are no birds in the nests of yesterday.

A few reviews, interviews, etc:

On Borrufa: Portland Monthly, Redefine Magazine, The Sunbreak, Willamette Week, Portland Monthly.

On Haft-Seen: DiaCritics.
